Terms and Conditions

 

General:

  • Subject to change prior to full payment being received
  • Group travel is subject to a minimum of 8 people booking for each group trip
  • Surgery costs are in addition to accommodation costs, flights and other travel costs incurred by you
  • Nip-Tuck Cosmetic Surgery Ltd does not provide a booking service for flights and airfares.  These are the client’s responsibility.
  • Surgery costs are due and payable to the hospital prior to surgery and are to be paid direct to the hospital on day of surgery, if you proceed with a procedure/treatment.  Payment in full will be required before a surgery procedure is performed if having cosmetic surgery.
  • For Dental procedures, payment may be made after the procedure but this is subject to the clinics approval. 
  • Surgery pricing is subject to exchange rate changes and is for budgeting purposes only
  • Surgery pricing is subject to confirmation at the consultation with your surgeon and dentist.  Additional costs may apply and the hospital/clinic reserves the right to change prices without notice.
  • The estimated prices quoted by the hospital/clinic are applicable for elective, uncomplicated procedures. 
  • The estimated price excludes other charges not related to the procedure
  • Acceptance for cosmetic or dental surgery can only be confirmed after a face to face consultation and following all hospital/clinic's  health checks, tests, studies, X-rays as required
  • Non Disclosure:  A surgeons/dentists treatment plan and estimate of cost will be based on all information and photos supplied by you.  If you fail to disclose important medical information at the time of registering for a free digital consult and estimate of cost and a further face to face consultation shows that there are added risks or medical information that was needed but excluded in your information you will take full responsibility and the hospital/clinic and surgeon may refuse to proceed with a procedure or request further tests, specialists and facilities at your added expense.
  • Accommodation is booked for consecutive nights stay and there will be no refund on unused room nights
  • Accommodation costs are based on group travel days.  If dates are to be extended because of extended recovery days stipulated by the hospital and surgeon, extra accommodation costs will apply.  These will be based on a single booking and may incur a further booking fee to change requirements and subject to accommodation providers terms and conditions and pricing and availability.
  • Length of stay is a recommended length of stay by the hospital and surgeons based on uncomplicated single surgery.  Multiple surgeries may require an extended stay in Thailand, Phuket.  Additional costs may apply for extended stays.
  • Full accommodation costs are to be paid at the time of booking to secure your accommodation with the accommodation provider.  Any cancellations will be charged the full amount of the room cancelled unless another client can take your place.  
  • Accommodation prices are subject to seasonal rates and change depending on what season you travel in.
  • Our Administrative fee is NZ$500 and is due and payable at the time of your confirmation of booking.  This is non-refundable should you choose to cancel.  However, it is transferrable should you choose to transfer your surgery procedure booking to another date.  All transferred dates are subject to hospital and surgeon confirmation.
  • Accommodation is subject to the accommodation providers’ terms and conditions and these may change without notice.
  • At the time of a face-to-face consultation with your surgeon, if you decide to cancel your surgery a hospital fee will be charged for the consultation and registration. 
  • All clients accept and acknowledge that they have reviewed the procedure information on the hospital website and the associated risks related to their procedure/treatment offered by the hospital and that they have received advice from their general practioner should they be unsure of the risks involved.  The link to this information is given within the treatment plan from the surgeon and hospital.  They also acknowledge that they have reviewed their treatment plan and understand all the terms and conditions set out in this by the hospital and surgeon.  This clause applies to cosmetic surgery procedures and dental procedures where applicable. 
  • Some clients who are having multiple procedures or extensive surgery, or who have a pre-existing medical conditions, or have been assessed as being at risk from anesthesia maybe required to complete additional pre surgery tests at the hospitals request.  All such additional tests, X-rays, cardiac studies and laboratory tests will not be included in the estimated cost and quote given in the initial treatment plan.  These can only be assessed at the time of the face-to-face consultation.
  • Compression garments are the sole responsibility of the client.
  • Further:  All clients who choose to use Nip-Tuck Cosmetic Surgery Ltd to book any service through a third party provider will be required to review and acknowledge and sign Nip-Tuck Cosmetic Surgery Ltd’s Disclaimer document before a booking is made and confirmed.  Such Disclaimer and Terms and Conditions will be provided at the time, and prior, to a client booking.

Other Terms and Conditions

 

Policies in relation to Smoking, Alcohol and Strenuous Activities

 

  • Smokers must cease smoking 4 weeks prior and 4 weeks post surgery
  • Clients who drink alcohol must cease drinking 1 week prior to surgery and for the complete post-operative period until they have ceased their course of antibiotics or as advised by their surgeon
  • Clients must not engage in any activity, such as speedboat tours, elephant trekking, parasailing and similar strenuous activities during the initial recovery period and as stipulated by the surgeon.
  • All other recommendations and advice by the surgeons must be adhered to, including but not limited to wearing compression garments for certain periods, abstaining from certain activities, and using prescribed medications.
